Inga Oberbeil graduated in biology in 1996. She worked in a publishing house for several
years before she began working at the conception and establishment of a reform-
pedagogic school where progressive teaching methods (holistic learning at the centre of
attention) were to be the main feature.
She accompanied the process of establishing the reform school with a book: "Aktive
Schule München - Erfahrungsbericht einer Schulgründungsinitiative. Mit Konzept,
Bescheiden, Gutachten und Urteil", ars et unitas 2009. The school, named "Aktive Schule
Petershausen", was started in Petershausen near Munich in autumn 2009.
In 2009 Inga Oberbeil taught as a substitute teacher of biology and geography
at the Anne-Frank-Realschule in Munich. In addition she worked freelance for the FWU
Filme für Wissenschaft und Unterricht), a film company specialized in didactic materials.
Since 2010 she has been working as a Technical Assistant for the LMU in Munich.
